Random thoughts on December Eve:

1. We played the best game last night. It’s called Fishbowl. Have you ever played before?

There are three rounds and the first round you describe the words, the next round is charades and the third round you use one word to describe the words.

It was so much fun.

2. My favorite thing about this Thanksgiving? It’s full of rest and joy and books and family.

And it kicks off the holiday season.

3. Did you shop Black Friday? Whitney and I went shopping in the stores and I couldn’t believe all the shoppers. It was like old times.

4. We are heading out on a cruise again after Christmas. We are going with three other couples and I’m working on my outfits.

5. It was an amazing week on the blog. We talked about:

  • all the Cyber Week Sales
  • this classic Christmas tour
  • why you should decorate a Christmas tree from the inside out
  • how to decorate a staircase for Christmas

6. I just scheduled family photos for Christmas and our colors are navy and khaki and plaid. Even Buddy is going to match. I ordered him the cutest kerchief with his name embroidered on it.

And now?

Let’s see all the amazing things I found for us from around the web (including lots of recipes).

An assortment of natural elements laid out on a surface, including pine branches, red berries, conifer twigs, pinecones, wispy tan grass, and stems with small orange berries.

This Christmas wreath project turned out amazing.

It’s made from foraged finds from the yard.
