Random thoughts on a chilly November morning:
1. So many of you ask me about Buddy. He is 17 years old and still going strong. He’s such a faithful friend and he follows me wherever I go.
He’s lying right here and inspiring me to write this post.
2. So many of you have sent me projects or rooms or something you were inspired by from the blog and I LOVE IT.
Seriously.
I so so so appreciate each and every one of you and it makes my heart so happy when you share.
I wouldn’t have this blog and this platform without all of you and I am so thankful.
3. I’m going to brunch this morning with 2 (maybe 3) of my high school friends. I can’t WAIT to see them.
There’s something so special about people who knew you when life was just getting started.
4. I’m working on this DIY for my Christmas tree. I’m trying to take giant plastic ornaments and add glitter and paint inside to make inexpensive tree fillers.
I’ll keep you posted on how it goes (if it works out I’ll post the DIY on the blog).
5. It was an amazing week on the blog. We talked about:
- what I’m reading lately
- if Christmas decorating is overwhelming you—read this
- how to dye fabric
- the one thing you need to decorate for the holidays
And now?
Grab a cup of something and join me.
I have tons of ideas and inspiration that I found this week for all of us.

Top seller of the week
Apparently you all loved these as much as I do.
They come in a set of six and they are porcelain (just like those bowl fillers we ordered). They arrived at the house and they are BEAUTIFUL. I’m not crazy about the string, so I think I’m going to replace it with velvet ribbon.
You can see the ornaments here.
Happy Random Saturday to you
