Random thoughts on a thrift shopping Saturday morning:

1. I go back and forth with Brit Box. I subscribe watch everything good and then unsubscribe. I just resubscribed again because there were so many new shows.

Do you watch Brit Box? And if so—I’d love to hear a show recommendation.

2. In amazing news, the high-waisted leggings with tummy control AND POCKETS are on sale for under $20 right now.

You can see them here.

3. We are heading down to Waco to SING next weekend to see CHI-O’s act and all the other acts in the competition.

Fingers crossed for CHI-O.

4. I’m in the middle of a really good book right now. It goes back and forth between the present day and 1950s in Havana. There’s a little mystery and a good romance and I’m learning so much about the time period.

It’s called Next Year In Havana and you can see it here.

5. It was an amazing week on the blog. We discussed:

  • the winner of the rug challenge
  • the cutest Amazon spring outfits
  • the last handmade. Christmas present

6. I have the best tip if you paint your nails at home. Make sure to wrap the polish (and the topcoat) over the top of the nails to prevent chipping.

And now?

Here’s my round-up of all my favorite links to show you.

LET’S GO.

Egg carton planters with labels for herbs like chives, marjoram, and lemon balm. Eggshells hold soil. Labels are attached to sticks. Gardening materials are visible in the background.

This is the year of the garden.

If you are all about herbs for your kitchen?

Here are some tips to grow your own from seed.

A soft pink robe drapes over the edge of a white bathtub with gold clawfoot fixtures. A wooden stool holds a glass vase with pink roses and petals scattered around. A bar of soap rests on the tub's edge.

I was just looking at my bathroom the other day.

I think it needs help and some amazing ideas like these for a mini bathroom refresh.

You can see the tips here.

Decorative potted plant with green foliage, in a rustic pot with floral accents and a weathered finish. It sits on a textured surface, accompanied by a similar pot. A wooden "Flower Market" sign is visible in the background.

I thought this was the cleverest idea.

I’ve seen this done before, but not like this. You’ll never guess what the flowers are made of.

You can see the DIY here.

This little Easter bunny is so cute.

And it’s made from fondant.

See the entire how-to here.
