Random thoughts on a sunny Saturday morning:

1. I think 2025 is going to be the year of the flower. We are starting to plan out the flower beds for spring planting. I’m so excited. We are adding new curved beds around the fence in the backyard.

The birdhouse will be so happy.

2. Have you read An Invisible Thread? It’s next on my reading list. My friend (who has the best book recommendations) told me about it and I’m so excited to start it this weekend.

You can read all about it here.

3. I’ve never really been able to grow my nails. I kind of have stubby fingers and stubby nails. Then my hairdresser told me about this nail protein that you paint on your nails like a top coat. I paint my nails about once a week and add another coat of the nail protein every other day and my nails are the best they’ve ever been. It’s a little bit of a splurge for nail polish, but it’s so worth it.

You can see the nail protein here.

4. It was an amazing week on the blog. We talked about:

  • this My Favorite Things party
  • this spring trend
  • these lamp-decorating tips
  • this Valentine’s Day DIY

5.  I was so sad that football is almost over and then I realized that basketball is next. I love March Madness. Who are you rooting for?

And now?

Let’s see all the fun finds I discovered for us this week.

Cozy living room with a brick fireplace and a fire burning. Wooden beams cross the white ceiling. A chandelier hangs above a coffee table with flowers. Candles and a mirror sit on the mantel, and a vase of flowers adds charm. Sunlight filters through French doors.

This is the season of cozy.

And here are 5 ways to add cozy winter ambiance to your home.

You can see all the tips here.

A collage of pink and white desserts: top left, pink macarons; top right, cookies with pink icing on a white stand; bottom left, pink and white marshmallows on a plate; bottom right, a cake with pink rosette frosting on a stand.

Aren’t these the sweetest pink desserts?

Just in time for Valentine’s Day.

You can see all the recipes here.

A cardboard carrier holds a bouquet of pink roses and greenery on one side and a white takeaway coffee cup with a lid on the other. The arrangement is placed on a white surface, with blurred flowers and objects in the background.

Remember how we talked about cute ideas for cardboard drink holders?

Look at this idea for Valentine’s Day.

You can see the how-to here.

Four white heart-shaped clay ornaments with floral imprints hang from twine adorned with a pink ribbon on a wooden surface.

I’ve been looking for a project with clay.

And then I found this one.

You can see the DIY for these botanical imprint clay hearts.
