Looking for simple ideas on how to decorate with metal flowers? It’s a trend this spring and it’s an easy addition to your spring decor.

I love all the seasons, truly I do.

But just between us?

There comes a day when I have to break up with winter.

It’s usually somewhere towards the end of January when the sweater days have lost their luster and the gray skies don’t look like they are ever going to cheer up and all the leafless trees look like they are auditioning for a part in an Alfred Hitchcock film.

Enough already.

That’s when I tell winter he was a super cute date for the holidays and I really like mistletoe and carols and sleigh rides and he was totally hot when he showed up wearing all that white.

But now?

There’s a new special season in my life.

And I’m all about it- especially when I just discovered the CUTEST new spring trend.

And I’m decorating with THIS.

Bright entryway with wooden floors, a padded bench, and a red wooden dresser topped with plants near the staircase. Sunlight streams through the white-framed glass door, illuminating the space.

Can you see it right there in the corner?

It’s a hint of spring.

I kind of ease into spring decorating.

Nothing too fancy.

Who has time for that?  I mean, I’m still in yoga pants and a messy bun and winter dry skin binge-watching episodes of Listing Impossible.

A vintage wooden cabinet with a marble top is adorned with stacked books, a plant in a white vase, and a decorative teapot. Above it, a rustic wall art piece displays a floral motif. To the left, there's a wooden door marked "Office.

I love this little corner of the back entry.

This is the piece that I brought back from my aunt’s house at the Cape this summer.

Isn’t it the sweetest piece? She was going to donate it and it was kind of in pieces and I knew that I knew that I knew it would be perfect.

You can see the before and where we started with this little cabinet here.

A decorative arrangement with green foliage, a small bird's nest, and white flowers is displayed on a pedestal. Above, a wall hanging features similar white flowers and green spheres. The background is a light, neutral-toned wall.

It started when I found these egg topiaries at Big Lots.

If you happen to have a Big Lots near you—run. They are closing stores and there are amazing things on sale—like these topiaries.

I found two and they hopped into my cart and when I bought them home I was originally going to use them on the mantel, but this little corner raised it’s hand.

And so one of the topiaries found a home here.

Artificial white flowers and green leaves are arranged decoratively against a backdrop of stacked green and gray rods, creating a textured, rustic display.

A cozy entryway features a wooden door with an "office" sign, a small wooden cabinet topped with a white vase of flowers, and a mirror adorned with decorative branches. Sunlight filters through a large window, brightening the space.

And on the subject of greenery.

I like a little faux with my real.  I typically mix both together and adjust my messy bun.

There’s real and faux and then there’s metal flowers.

Look at this wreath. It comes in three different sizes and I ordered the medium with is 16″ in diameter. The flowers and the leaves are all metal and you can move them around to make it as large or as small as you want.

But here’s the question?

What type of flowers do you think those metal flowers are?

Dogwood?

Petunia?

A decorative arrangement featuring a rustic, vine-like basket filled with pastel-colored speckled eggs, surrounded by green leaves and delicate white flowers. Additional flowers are adorned on a similar background frame.

And then?

When I was over there looking at the wreath? I found this metal flower garland.

It’s metal and bendable and you can twist it however you want it to go.

You can see the metal garland here.

A decorative display with a small glass cloche covering a bird's egg on a wooden stand. Behind, a stack of books with covers removed has "you've got this" written on the spines. A rustic bird's nest with flowers is in the background.

I draped it around the egg topiary and then let it drape down over the books and this little tiny cloche that I added a nest to.

There’s a stack of books.

And a nest.

And a little pedestal for the cloche.

And now this little corner of the entry is ready for spring.

These metal flowers and leaves are one of my favorite spring decor finds I’ve discovered in a long time.

Years ago I bought metal leaves from Magnolia and I’d never really seen metal flowers or leaves since.

But apparently, they are a THING this spring. Look at all these metal spring flowers and wreaths and stems (even tulips). Look at all these metal flowers I found.

Winter, it’s been fun.

I love your blustery gales and your dancing flakes and your layers of snowdrifts.

I understand.

I get it.

I know you were trying to impress me with all that winter wonderland.

But my heart?  I’m sorry to go all Elizabeth Bennett on you, but it’s engaged elsewhere at the moment.

Maybe call me next year?
