It’s that time again.
You know.
The one where we laugh and talk and discuss all my favorite finds from the month.
I so wish that we could share it all over coffee. We’d sit down at a giant coffee bar and order tea or Diet Coke or hot coffee or cold coffee and share ideas and finds and things that just make life a little simpler.
And could we share books, too?
Books are great things to talk about over coffee. I sat down next to a random lady at Starbucks here on the Cape yesterday. She was reading a book, so I asked her what she was reading and then we struck up a 20-minute conversation about all things books. I told her about a few books that I read up here that I didn’t like that much and then one that I loved.
I just finished “The Night We Lost Him,” by Laura Dave. It’s SO GOOD. It’s about a billionaire who falls off a cliff and his children are trying to figure out what really happens which (of course) involves layers and layers of mystery. It’s also got a good romance, too.
But I book digress.
That’s what happens at coffee shops.
Today we are discussing all my favorite finds from this month that make life a little easier.
Here are 9 things I wish I would have bought sooner.

1. This leg coverage makeup
You know when you apply self-tanner and you miss a spot?
Or when you have an important occasion (or even just coffee with friends) and you want to wear shorts or a short dress, but your legs are not short ready?
This is the solution.
You just apply it with a mitt like this one and it goes on and your legs INSTANTLY LOOK AMAZING.
This is my second time to order it and I think the most natural-looking color is called Hunnie Hunnie.
Also—getting questions about if it gets on your clothes? It doesn’t. I’ve worn it for two years and it has never gotten on anything I’ve worn. That being said—not sure if I would wear a white skirt.

2. Self-application tanner mitt
I’ve bought this twice now (and given one to the twins) and it is GOLD.
If you are not into self-tanner skip this one.
If you are trying to figure out how to make yourself look cuter for 2025? This should immediately hop into your cart.
No more orange hands and the tanner goes on SO MUCH more easily.

3. These suction hooks
These hooks are GOLD.
Literally.
If you live in a place where you can’t hang hooks or even if you have a place where maybe you want a hook, but you can’t hang one (like a mirror or tile in the bathroom)?
These are the answer.
They attach anywhere.
You just take the back off and suction it onto the surface and then add the hook. The suction is really strong and they look so cute.

4. A lighted make-up mirror
There is nothing better sometimes than a really good make-up mirror.
(total aside: although sometimes I surprise myself when I flip that 10X side around. Yikes.)
This one has everything.
It’s adjustable up and down and has a regular side and a 10X side with three different types of lighting and you can take it anywhere because it works off a rechargeable battery.
It comes in other colors, too, besides silver.

5. These sunglasses
I get so many compliments on these sunglasses.
They are a beautiful see-through neutral that goes with everything and they have this gold ear hook at the end that really holds them onto your ears.
(total aside: not sure if ear hook is the right word, but I couldn’t think of anything else to describe it).
They come in tons of other colors, but this one is my favorite and that makes them the perfect summer of 2025 sunglasses.

6. Anything from the brand Quince
I just found this smaller boutique brand recently.
So many different people recommended it and the price point is so good, so I tried them.
(total aside: I am not a brand ambassador for Quince, but I SO WISH I was.)
If you are looking for a super HIGH QUALITY knit pant—this is the ONE. It comes in two different lengths and three different colors. I ordered the shorter one (of course). They have the cutest pockets in the front and the pants hold in my tummy and just feel super expensive.
I’m going to do an entire post on what I ordered (I only returned one thing) and everything else was SO NEXT LEVEL.

7. These melamine beaded plates
Aren’t these the cutest?
And perfect for summer.
You can take them outside because they are melamine (although they feel kind of like a light ceramic).
The design is so high-end and just feels fancy.

8. My favorite bra of all time
I didn’t even want to put a picture of a bra on my blog because I’m kind of embarrassed to share this, but in the spirit of sharing things I wish I would have bought sooner? Y’ALL.

It seems like lifetimes.
I’ve probably tried dozens and dozens and dozens. Some I threw away. Some I returned. Some I made work.
And then?
I found this one.

These are the bras for you (you can thank me later).

9. This two-piece set
This is the coziest set for travel.
I love it and it feels so much more expensive than it is.
The pants are cropped and there’s a v-neck with the tiniest little collar that’s super flattering.
It comes in tons of colors and runs a little large–so size down if you are in-between sizes.
