Random thoughts on the first day of February Saturday morning:
1. Remember the birdhouse that my husband rescued? The tree right next to it has tiny little leaves on it.
I was so excited I took pictures for Instagram.
2. I’m in the middle of the sweetest book right now. One of you recommended it to me and it’s called Long Way Home. It’s about a girl named Peggy whose best friend, Jimmy, comes home from World War II with so much trauma that he ends up in the hospital and won’t talk to anyone. She finds a mysterious photo of a girl named Gisela in his Bible and Peggy tries to unravel the mystery of what happened. It’s told from both Gisela’s and Peggy’s viewpoint and it’s all about faith and redemption and there’s a mystery and a love story—kind of the perfect book by the faith-based author Lynn Austin.
Be still my heart.

3. I’m so happy that you were all about the tags I used to make that flower. I think 2025 is going to be the year of the craft. I’m working on the cutest craft for next week. Here’s a hint. It involves blue jeans and monograms.

5. Did you see? I just watched some fashion videos and I’m almost afraid to type the words. Super high shoulder pads are back.
Yep.
I saw them online and blinked twice and they were still there.
