Extolling natural, unpretentious materials, ease of use, and reverence for the old, Christophersen went on to created refreshingly simple elements for the home, including his own kitchen out of parts found on the street. It served as a model for Frama\u2019s initial kitchens composed of freestanding, wood-framed components.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe first Frama kitchen was based on principles refined to their most essential,\u201d explains the company. \u201cThe aim was to celebrate the essentials of cooking and being.\u201d Frama has now taken its kitchen offerings to the next-level: collaborating with Swedish cabinetmaker Kva\u0308num, a century-old kitchen maker and supplier to the Swedish royal court, it has just introduced Frama Modules by Kv\u00e4num, a line of kitchen components in two wooden frames.<\/p>\n<p>Photography courtesy of Frama.<\/p>\n<h3>Frama\u2019s Kitchen Modules in Ginger<\/h3>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/5839762335548702121.jpg\">  <br \/>Above: Christophersen describes the new line as \u201ctraditional craft meets Frama\u2019s distinctly straightforward aesthetic.\u201d   <\/p>\n<p>The modules are made of birch, here stained a warm hue they\u2019ve dubbed Ginger, with milled stainless steel pulls.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/5680066714613598723.jpg\">  <br \/>Above: The freestanding wooden components are offered with stainless steel or stone countertops. Frama\u2019s offerings now range from tables and chairs to towels and perfume. \u201cMost of my work has been about asking what is the least I could fill it with, and removing things, stripping them back,\u201d Christophersen told The Modern House journal.   <\/p>\n<h3>Frama\u2019s Kitchen Modules in Chestnut<\/h3>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/3727130257774423023.jpg\">  <br \/>Above: Frama notes that its kitchen designs were originally created for urban settings but look equally at home in the countryside.
