Recently, we asked London-based designer Cassandra Ellis how she puts a room together. Her answer? It\u2019s like writing a story, \u201ctelling the tale of home,\u201d she says. By building up interiors with antique furniture, handmade fabric, and a rotation of ephemera, Cassandra creates personalized spaces. The upstairs bedroom in her former house, a split-level apartment on the top floor of a converted Victorian school in London, is a perfect example.
