If I had it my way, renting apartments in the States would be more like it is in Germany, where renters bring their own kitchen components from one rental to another. That way, I could make a one-time investment and save myself the grief of dodgy ovens and linoleum counters. Just give me a blank room, some hook-ups, and I\u2019d be set. If you like the modular kitchen look (whether the intrepid renter or savvy homeowner), here are eight companies offering modular components, including islands on wheels, standalone ovens, and more to create your own kitchen kit.<\/p>\n

1. Frama<\/h2>\n
