A stay at Arco dei Tolomei includes velvet furniture passed down through generations, charming floral-wallpapered rooms, and a dapper Italian hotelier.<\/p>\n

At least that\u2019s what Design Tripper\u2018s Meghan McEwen had to say when she stayed at the guest house a while back. Longtime owners Marco and Gianna remodeled their old family house into a B&B comprised of six bedrooms. Marco has designed the house with a classically Roman flair in line with his own demeanor. McEwen describes him as, \u201ca true Italian gentleman, who wears button-down shirts under sweaters and looks absolutely dashing at all times.\u201d<\/p>\n
