Sea Me was started by two women in search of the perfect bed linen, in hues of blues, greens, and sand, made in Ukraine. “We are a small team from Odessa, a city by the Black Sea,” they say. “Breathing the sea every day we are inspired by its colors, shades, and energy.”
N.B.: We first ran this post in 2018; since then, the founders have had to leave Ukraine but continue to base operations in Odessa, to support the makers who remain.
Here’s a look at the offerings.
Above: Sea Me’s linens are made of 100 percent pure European Oeko-tex certified linen, “free of harmful chemicals”. Each piece, they add, is “lovingly hand-sewn individually right after you place an order. It usually takes 2-3 days for us to ship it.” Sea Me encourages purchasing bedding “piece by piece: That will allow building yours over the time or have the unique color combinations.” A flat sheet is $120, fitted is $130, duvet cover $240, and pair of pillowcases $69, all in the queen size. Shown is a full set in Foam.
